We create enduring spaces where life’s most meaningful moments unfold.

Most properties don’t lack potential. They lack clarity.

Without a clear plan, decisions are made in isolation often at the expense of the whole.

Our design process brings structure to complex decisions.

We provide clarity at each stage so every decision builds toward a cohesive, enduring result.

Discover the Property

We begin on site, walking your property and studying the architecture. This early work reveals opportunities, constraints, and how you want to live on the property.

Develop the Vision

We translate what we’ve learned into designs and options that align land, architecture, and daily life.

Shape the Systems

Each element works in relationship to the whole. Circulation, lighting, plants, and gathering spaces are thoughtfully composed to create a cohesive and enduring landscape.

Guide with Precision

Clear documentation and experienced guidance protects the vision and ensures it carries through to completion.

Questions we’re often asked:

The earlier, the better. The most impactful and cost-effective time to involve a landscape architect is before major site decisions are made. If you're building new, that means before the house is sited or graded. If you're renovating, it means before contractors are hired or materials are ordered. The further along a project gets without a design plan, the more expensive it becomes to correct course. Early involvement doesn't add cost, it prevents it.

Challenging sites are often where we do our best work. Steep slopes, poor drainage, difficult access, odd proportions, tree preservation - these aren't obstacles to work around, they're design problems to solve. A thorough site analysis is always our first step, to identify the unique qualities of every site. Those features often become design opportunities that make the property special.

No, we are a design-only firm. We create the plans and documents and we connect you with a trusted contractor who can build it.

Because our only job is to represent your best interests. We have no incentive to upsell materials or labor.

Design typically takes several months depending on complexity. Construction timelines depend on your contractor.

Construction Administration is part of our process - we make ourselves available periodically to assist you and the contractor with decisions throughout the build.

Yes, pools can be integrated into the overall landscape master plan.

Site analysis, master planning, construction documentation including: grading & drainage, hardscapes, planting, water features, landscape lighting, entry gates, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits, covered porches, shade structures, driveways - just to name a few.

Yes. Greg has experience with rural land, gated entries, paddocks, and large-scale site planning.

Any existing surveys, site plans, or architectural drawings you have are helpful. We'll ask for those early in the process.

It can be. Many clients implement their master plan in phases over several years. We design for the full vision; you build what the budget allows.

We can assist with governing body submittals when required as part of the project scope.

Yes. We can connect you with trusted local contractors. You're welcome to get multiple bids from our construction documents.

Yes. Greg is a licensed Landscape Architect in Arkansas (License #5058) and Missouri (#LA-2011005100), and carries professional liability insurance.

That's actually an ideal time to bring us in. We can connect you with architects and/or builders we know and trust, then work alongside them to help site the home in the right location and orientation - so where the house sits, which way it faces, and how the outdoor spaces unfold are all decided intentionally from the start. It's one of the best opportunities to get the most out of your property.

Start with a clear plan.

We take on a limited number of projects to ensure care and attention at every step.

...I have the pleasure of being the third person from my office to use Landform Designs... Excellent experience with a much improved yard... Professional, knowledgeable and thorough.
