Blue Water Ridge Retreat

Blue Water Ridge Retreat

Community: Rocky Branch

City / State: Rogers, AR

This lake retreat is shaped by a single organizing idea: the home belongs to its land. The structure follows the natural grade, with the pool, kitchen, and deck arranged to draw daily life outdoors. Planting and materials were chosen to age well with minimal upkeep -- quiet choices that serve the owners long after the project is complete.

Over the Top

The site was chosen for exactly this, a home positioned at the edge of the bluff with a lake view two hundred feet below.

Infinite Connection

The pool sits at the edge of the home and the edge of the view, its water continuous with the lake beyond. Designed for gathering while connecting the people within it to the larger landscape beyond.

Engaging the Senses

Engaging the Senses

A fire, a view, and a chair worth staying in, the deck needs nothing more from its visitors than to be present.

A place to stay a little longer

Designed around the moments that matter - long evenings, easy gathering, and a view that earns its keep
